Obama says he will sign fiscal cliff bill

WASHINGTON (AP) — Past its own New Year’s deadline, a weary Congress sent President Barack Obama legislation to avoid a national ‘‘fiscal cliff’’ of middle class tax increases and spending cuts late Tuesday night in the culmination of a struggle that strained America’s divided government to the limit.

I agree. Cantor is evil.

Well, maybe that's a little strong, but whenever Boehner has tried to reach an agreement with the White House, Cantor has throttled it. I don't agree with Boehner's politics, but I think he's a decent man. I think the same of Mitch McConnell. If it wasn't for the radical right, we could probably have a functioning Congress again.
