Democrat Elizabeth Warren is being sworn in as a US senator Thursday in Washington, but Massachusetts supporters unable to make it can attend a ceremonial swearing in Saturday at Roxbury Community College.
The oath of office will be administered this weekend by Supreme Court Justice Elena Kagan, Warren’s former boss at Harvard Law School. Senator Scott Brown, the Republican whom Warren is replacing, opposed Kagan’s nomination to the high court.
