WASHINGTON — Chuck Hagel secured the backing of two of the staunchest pro-Israel Senate Democrats in a clear boost to the Republican’s prospects of becoming President Obama’s next defense secretary.
Senators Chuck Schumer of New York and Barbara Boxer of California said Tuesday that they had spoken extensively with Hagel and he had addressed their earlier reservations about whether he was ‘‘anti-Israel,’’ too soft on Iran, or opposed to gay rights.

So AP says that Republicans must never use a filibuster. AP will also say, if Republicans accept Hagel "See, the GOP is DIVIDED". AP KNOWS that Schumer and Boxer are Democrats first, and friends of Israel LAST. They did NOTHING to stop Obama's "Arab Spring" which put the vehemently anti Israel Mohammed Morsi in power in Egypt. Boxer and Schumer will have to pray to their God for forgiveness for selling out Israel.
Democrats, especially Jewish ones are NOT friends of Israel. Only Republicans are friends of Israel.
