When looking back at Obama's first term, it is truly hard to imagine why he won a secnd term. He failed in so many ways, from the economy to the deficit. But even more importantly, he never grew up. He always acted like a petulant child, whose only goal was to score points against the enemy (The GOP).
NEW PARAGRAPH: Contrast his conduct with his predessessor, George W. Bush. Presdient Bush went out of his way to work with Democrats on solving what he believed to be real problems. He did this with Ted Kennedy in No Child Left Behind; he did this with his effot on immigration reform. Solving problems and acting like a president were Bush's calling cards. He never attacked his opponents, amd treated all people with dignity; he was a statesman.
NEW PARAGRAPH: Obama never wanted to work with the Republicans. he forced through much of his agenda with no GOP votes. When they failed, he could blame no one but himself. Examples the stimulus did not life the economy; healtch care "reform" has led to HIGHER health care costs. But his peevish attacks on those who disagree still have all the charm of a three year old who cannot get his way.
My country is in serious decline, and the media is ready to buiold statues for this man. He is an embarrassment, and so is the media for its slobbering love of him.
