Paul Ryan says GOP has to pick its fights with Obama

WASHINGTON — Representative Paul Ryan said Saturday that Republicans should stick together and pick their fights during President Obama’s second term, rejecting some White House proposals outright and trying to infuse others with conservative principles.

In a speech to conservatives, the GOP’s 2012 vice presidential nominee said Obama would attempt to divide Republicans but urged them to avoid internal squabbles after a second straight presidential loss.

Good advice but they really cannot help themselves at this point.  The GOP has already tried blaming Obama for saying things that he knows will make them do stupid things in response.

give it up Ryan, the people spoke, they don't want conservatives or fiscal sanity............they want big government, so shut up and go away. They want gay marriage, give amnesity to illegals, free birth control for all women, that's what's important to us, and lower taxes.

Irony, I get it.

@mean_willie:  You've got to admit that migh's abuse of grammer and spelling was a brilliant touch.

As the economy improves, the GOP claims that they have better ideas will look even more empty.

Let's see if the new Senator Cruz from  keeps his word and not only refuses the federal money for his state of Texas but in a magnanimous gesture asks his state to make yearly payments to the U.S. Treasury for past moneys given to it Along with negating tax breaks for the multi-billion dollar oil businesses.  That's one way to lower about 5-7 trillion dollars of the national debt that the two Texans named Presidents Bush added to the total debt.  I propose that every time a newspaper article mentions the total debt that a simple paragraph be inserted giving breakdown of each President's contribution and That total debt, not just President Obama's.
