WASHINGTON — Weeks before President Obama’s State of the Union address, White House aides were locking down a plan for the sales pitch that would follow during three days of travel focused on his main themes.
The effort to promote Obama’s proposals on jobs, wages, and education involved visits to Asheville, N.C.; Decatur, Ga.; and Chicago. He also participated in a Google Plus chat, and mobilized his formidable former campaign apparatus.

Comrade oblunder must be using all the experience he gained as a community organizer to right our failing economy. The empty suit has not got a clue of what our economy needs or how to do it.
"One thing it didn’t include was Congress. For the White House, this is a campaign for public opinion, not one to write specific legislation"..ACTUALLY it is a way for Obama to claim that he is not responsible for any failed policy. Instead he will go around the country telling people that he is"Trying Really Hard" to fix the country's problems, but it's those evil Republicans who keep blocking everything he tries to do. And the news media joins or leads his propaganda campaign.
At least you got this part right:
"He is trying really hard to fix the country's problems, but it's those evil Republicans who keep blocking everything he tries to do."
Well, yup.
