Biden visits Conn., pleads for gun control measures

DANBURY, Conn. — Speaking at a conference on gun violence a dozen miles from the scene of the Connecticut school massacre, Vice President Joe Biden tried to rally support on Thursday for the Obama administration’s gun control proposals.

Biden said the Dec. 14 shootings at Sandy Hook Elementary School in Newtown fundamentally altered the debate over gun control.

Comments

Just commenting on the Biden issue....... Listening to him extoll the virtues of owning a shotgun was priceless.  The mere fact that he was not only advocating a shotgun but also his completely ignorant remarks about firing off a round from the front porch tells me the man is even more of a loose cannon than I gave him credit for.
