President Trump has long promised to dole out “fake news awards” to his most-loathed media outlets, and the “winners” were finally revealed Wednesday night.

The 2017 Fake News Awards feature 11 incidents of “fake news,” with CNN and The New York Times as repeat alleged offenders. CNN got four mentions, and The New York Times got two.

The Washington Post, ABC News, Newsweek, and TIME were all also featured.

The No. 1 item on Trump’s “fake news” list is the Times’ Paul Krugman’s prediction in November 2016 that the markets will “never” recover from Trump. Krugman’s piece was published in the Times’ Opinion section and intended to be a subjective viewpoint, though this is not acknowledged in Trump’s listing.

The final item on the awards list, coming in at No. 11, is “Russia collusion,” and is not tied to any particular news outlet.

“And last, but not least: ‘RUSSIA COLLUSION!’ Russian collusion is perhaps the greatest hoax perpetrated on the American people. THERE IS NO COLLUSION!” the award listing states.

When Trump first tweeted a link to the award “winners,” the website that houses the list initially kept crashing, perhaps due to a large influx of site traffic.

Trump had initially pledged to hand out the awards on Jan. 8 before postponing them.

Five minutes after tweeting the link, Trump followed up with another post about the media.
