Murphy is a legal reporter for the Boston Globe City & Region section. She covers courtroom news, legal affairs, government and current events across Massachusetts. In her time at the Globe, she has written on such topics as organized crime, homeland security, and the federal court. She previously served on the reporting staff of the Boston Herald. Murphy won a George Polk Award for Metropolitan Reporting and a IRE Award from Investigative Reporters and Editors, Inc., in 1994. |
