Israel blames Iran for bombs targeting envoys

4 hurt in India; Georgia attack is prevented

Bombers targeted Israel embassy workers in the capitals of India and Georgia on Monday, detonating a device that destroyed an Israeli diplomatic car in New Delhi and planting an explosive on an Israeli diplomat’s vehicle in Tbilisi that was defused. Israeli leaders accused Iran of responsibility for the attacks, which left at least two people in the Indian blast hospitalized. Iran denied responsibility.
