Pope says Mass for huge crowd in Mexico

Pope Benedict XVI urged Mexicans to wield their faith against evils such as drug violence before hundreds of thousands of worshipers on Sunday, saying they would find hope if they purify their hearts. Benedict delivered the message during an open-air Mass in the shadow of the Christ the King monument, one of the most important symbols of Mexican Christianity, which recalls the 1920s Roman Catholic uprising against the anticlerical laws.
