Greece takes last shot at coalition

Greece’s president will start negotiations Sunday to form a coalition government in a last-ditch effort to avoid new elections and further political turmoil. President Karolos Papoulias’ announcement Saturday followed the collapse a day before of the third effort by individual parties to form unity governments after elections last Sunday left no party with a majority.
