WASHINGTON — The United States and Iran have agreed in principle for the first time to one-on-one negotiations over Iran’s nuclear program, according to Obama administration officials, setting the stage for what could be a last-ditch diplomatic effort to avert a military strike on Iran.
Iranian officials have insisted that the talks wait until after the presidential election, a senior administration official said, telling their US counterparts that they want to know which American president they would be negotiating with.

This is a transparent effort by Teheran to buy time to finish development of a nuclear bomb and to throw the US election in Obama's direction. The Iranian fascists know that they are likely to obtain nuclear weapons during a second Obama term. The timing of the announcement is also suspicious, just before Monday's debate on foreign policy. The sanctions are too little too late! Obama's inactions have ensured war! Obama was warned three years ago to put the sanctions in-place immediately so that they have time to work before the clock runs out!! Obama waited three years and now it is too late!
