War tide awash at Syria borders

Jordan repels attack; Lebanon deploys troops

AMMAN, Jordan — Jordan and Lebanon moved aggressively Monday to squelch the spread of violence from Syria’s deadlocked civil war, the most significant register yet of alarm over the fighting spilling over Syrian borders.

Islamic extremists attacked Jordanian soldiers on the border with Syria, killing a corporal, hours after Jordan’s government announced that it had foiled a major terrorist plot against foreign diplomats and tourists, officials said Monday.

What's really shocking is how young these so-called Syrian and Jordanian "freedom fighters" are. They look early teens and don't have the maturity to realize the harm they cause to others, and more importantly, the harm they cause to THEMSELVES; not to mention that they don't understand the political ramifications of what they are doing and basically, at that age, don't even know what they want, and that they are being used. For shame.
