23 hostages are dead as Algerian standoff ends

ALGIERS, Algeria (AP) — In a bloody finale, Algerian special forces stormed a natural gas complex in the Sahara desert on Saturday to end a standoff with Islamist extremists that left at least 23 hostages dead and killed all 32 militants involved, the Algerian government said.

With few details emerging from the remote site in eastern Algeria, it was unclear whether anyone was rescued in the final operation, but the number of hostages killed on Saturday — seven — was how many the militants had said that morning they still had. The government described the toll as provisional and some foreigners remain unaccounted for.

Algerian "Special Forces"? More like, a bunch of yahoos, armed to the teeth, killing without any regard for the reason they are there in the first place. Hostages. This looks like Blood spilled for Oil. Again. Smooth move, Algeria.

Algeria’s response to the crisis was typical of the country’s history in confronting terrorists — military action over negotiation — and caused an international outcry from countries worried about their citizens.

ah, they are called Terrorists for a reason!!

Gee, I thought that Barack Obama had taken care of Islamic terrorism once and for all after the death of Osama bin Laden. Isn't that what everybody said at the DNC in August, pointed out by Michael Moore in his film, and advertised on the Globe's website for the next 2 years?

And as other bloggers have noticed, why does the Associated press and the Globe's headline just call them "Militants"? For the answer to that question, see my other blog below. If the Obama Administration says that they have ended terrorism and al Qaeda, then his loyal news medis and his loyal subjects are expected to believe him.

These collections of organic scum are the lowest form of human life. They should be exterminated.

Why can't I find a simple accounting of Americans in these stories?  How many were there in total, how many are known to be safe, how many are known to be dead and how many are unaccounted for?  Why do I know this information for virtually every other nanionality involved?  I'll tell you why.  This adminisration does not want to be seen as doing absolutely nothing again, just like in Benghazi, when our citizins are threatened or murdered by Al-Qaeda.  So they pretend they are "protecting" American lives by not giving any information.  This is outrageous.
