WASHINGTON — In one of her final appearances as secretary of state, Hillary Rodham Clinton on Wednesday vigorously defended her handling of the Sept. 11 attack on the US diplomatic compound in Benghazi, Libya, which killed four Americans and prompted a scathing review of State Department procedures.
“As I have said many times, I take responsibility, and nobody is more committed to getting this right,’’ she said, reading a statement during a day of testimony before Senate and House committees. ‘‘I am determined to leave the State Department and our country safer, stronger, and more secure.’’

Same article as yesterday, new headline. Globe wiped out all of the comments. Hillary Clinton frustrated Republicans because she just came in and LIED about what she knew and when she knew it. She offered NO PROOF to back up her assertions, beyond the State Dept's own "Investigative" report, which, amazingly did not name a single person as being responsible for the tragedy. Naturally, the NY Times accepts anything that Hillary said as proven fact. And natually not a single Senate Democrat asked Clinton to explain anything or point out one of the many inconsistancies in her testimony...Other people, e.g. Roger Clemens had to worry about beign prosecuted for contempot of Congress. OR people plead the 5th Amendment . Hillary just has contempt fSor Congress. Yesterday Globe used an AP article. But today's NY Times article is the same article as yesterday's AP article. A little plagarism, perhaps...Hillary's "Whas does it matter" in your face slap has numerous holes in it. ..here are a few holes in that argument. 1. Lying to the American people who are about to vote in a major election. 2. Impeding a potential presidential impeachment process (over the president's role in the Benghazi affair) 3. Refusing to provide State Dept. e-mails to and from Benghazi at the time, by claiming that everything is classified or is priviledged information. 4. Refusing to provide the names of the 20 Benghazi survivors. 5. Refusing to say why Hillary did not appear on talk shows instead of Susan Rice 6. Who told Susan Rice what to say. 7. Who deliberately changed the State Dept intelligence reports before allowing Congress to see it. 8. What did Hillarr know about Benghazi, and when did she know it. 9. What did barack Obama know about Benghazi, and when did she know it.
wow...looks like a parroting of Fox news talking points here looking for some conspiracy. In some ways her point is valid, what does it matter at this point, months away, about how the event occured and why not prevent this from happening, instead of political points lets focus on what the Senate Republicans say they want and look at protecting our embassies in an area of the world lurching into instability. But no, whenever possible there needs to be political points scored, and that doesn't solve the problem. The same blocking you are complaining about here we've seen from past administrations, Democrat and Republican, so unless you hold them all up the same standard it's just hypocrisy.

She wouldn't have had a tantrum over Johnson's question if she weren't trying to bully him and other potential critics into stopping their attempt to expose her cover up.

Well let me tell you' you would have learned a thing or two such as the Republican House refusing to allow state dept to transfer $$$$ from one account to the security account.. If you actually watched the hearing you would have seen pretentious, self serving and ignorant the repub inquisitors.
