Veterans and others mark 73rd anniversary of D-Day at Normandy

Tuesday was the 73rd anniversary of the D-Day landings, when 156,000 troops from the Allied countries launched an audacious attack on the beaches of Normandy, France.

Ceremonies were held in Normandy to mark the siege, considered by many to be the turning point in World War II.
