Let’s put Tom Conroy to the test. The three-term Wayland state representative has just spent 45 minutes telling me why he would be the Democrats’ best candidate against Republican Senator Scott Brown. That is, to put it politely, a minority view. Elizabeth Warren has emerged as such an overwhelming favorite that better-known and better-financed candidates than Conroy have since hit the silk. Although there’s room for a challenger in any contest, the burden is clearly on Conroy to make his case.
