Stephen Perez Jr. of Revere was murdered last Saturday during what police call the “let-out’’ — the frenetic 2 a.m. exodus from Boston nightclubs known for its boozy bottlenecks and violent confrontations among club patrons. The war veteran coveted a career in law enforcement, only to be struck down by a bullet on Tremont Street in the Theatre District.
