Skulking in the background with this piece is that candidates mold themselves to ingratiate themselves with one constituency or another. However Elizabeth Warren did no such thing. In fact her belief in her NA heritage is being used to denigrate her many accomplishments. She did not bring up this subject and as every article about this dust up shows she gained no advantage from it. More than demonstrating a problem with her it shows a major ugly side of her opposition. They cast around insulting names for Native Americans and have not learned the hurtfulness of racial slurs. Certainly Scott Brown is privy to the comments being made that are frankly hateful or at least out of line. Does he put an end to all this or call out supporters who use such language? No he fosters it. In other words: "I am Scott Brown and I approve these messages." What is it he does not want to talk about if he takes such pride in his own choices and ideology. He claims independence but marches lockstep with his obstructive overlord, Mitch McConnell.
"I am Scott Brown and I approve this message."
Too bad it's not funny, Brown never lied about his heritage, he actually owned the truck.
OETKB "She did not bring up this subject (or she hoped no one found out) and as every article about this dust up shows she gained no advantage from it" (unless of course you you think a tenured $350,000.00 professorship at Harvard over other qualified is no advantage).
"I am Scott Brown and I approve this message."
Let's hope this Joanna Weiss person is never hired as a writer for Jack Benny or Saturday Night Live.
what a stupid waste of paper. Warren is a fraud, plain and simple.

http://legalinsurrection.com/2012/06/the-vetting-of-elizabeth-warrens-academic-background-begins/ I have alluded to issues certain writers have taken with Elizabeth Warren's academic writings. But never have I seen a more scathing critique of Warren than that published by highly regarded Rutgers Law Professor Philip Shuchman which was uncovered by Michael Patrick Leahy at Breitbart.com. The article is posted here, and was published in the 1990-1991 edition of the Rutgers Law Review. It is 60 pages of devastating analysis of a book Warren co-authored, As We Forgive Our Debtors: Bankruptcy and Consumer Credit in America. This is the money quote reprinted in Leahy's article: Most of their study replicates several earlier research publications. These are hardly mentioned. The writers make extravagant and false claims to originality and priority of research. There appear to be serious errors in their use of statistical bases which result in grossly mistaken functions and comparisons. Some of their conclusions cannot be obtained even from their flawed findings. The authors have made their raw data unavailable so that its accuracy cannot be independently checked. In my opinion, the authors have engaged in repeated instances of scientific misconduct. [emphasis added]
She also claims to be the first person to take the NJ Bar and be breast feeding. Odd claim.
