It was a narrow victory for Barack Obama, one eked out in the battleground states against strong economic headwinds. But despite its closeness, this hard-earned victory was well-deserved and of historic consequence.
Some detractors are already trying to diminish his victory, but Obama has every reason to be pleased. Presidential elections play out on an Electoral College chessboard, where Team Obama out-thought and out-fought Team Romney.

What do you know? The system really does work! LOL!
I would add that the Supreme Court should also be safe from the prospect of another Scalia or Thomas. How about John Bolton for Secretary of State, or maybe Ron Paul to run the Fed (into the ground) or how about Rick Perry as Attorney General, or Sarah Palin at the Interior or maybe Scott Walker to run the Dept. of Labor, maybe Todd Akin to run the Dept. of Health and Human Services, maybe Donald Trump as the Housing and Urban Development Secretary, or David Koch at the Dept. of Energy, how about Rick Santorum to run the Dept. of Education or Jan Brewer of at the Dept. of Homeland Security, maybe James Inhofe over at the EPA, we could get Michelle Bachmann at the NSA. Who knows maybe even Newt at NASA. (Credit to Huffpost) Now we will at least hopefully never have to deal with any of these clowns ever again. Bon Voyage to them all. May they enjoy lengthy retirements and may they not be bitter. The country is really better off without them.
