As John Kerry takes the reins as secretary of state, no international problem will test his considerable diplomatic skills more than our difficult, complex, and unpredictable relationship with the other global superpower — China.

WHY?? China and other countries consider an offer to "Engage" as a sign of WEAKNESS. Why don't you stop telling the US to give any advantages away?..Hopefully John Kerry is smarter than the typical "wave the white flag" Liberal...
Does Kerry's highly developed skill at "liveshot" include his knowing how to use the 'face' concept as Asiatics use it?
Let's see..Barack Obama is insisting that Chuck Hagel be the next Secretary of Defense. Hagel wants to tear down the US military. He wants to negotiate with Iran. And here are the people who strongly APPROVE of Senator Hagel's confirmation: Russia, China, North Korea, Egypt, Syria, Hamas, Hezbolla, and Iran....Considering that Hagel and Obama hmnself want to tear down the US military, ..why should China negotiate with the US at all? Hagel also told TV statiion AL Jazeerra in 2009 that the United States is the "World's Bully".... Either this writer is a FOOL, or he thinks that the Globe's readers are FOOLS, ..or he is an agent of the Chinese government.
