Leadership vacuum may be root cause of Obama’s scandals

The White House blames a trio of scandals on all the president’s underlings.

President Barack Obama wasn’t involved in the IRS decision to target conservative groups. He didn’t know about the Justice Department’s decision to subpoena the telephone records of the Associated Press. The CIA and State Department — not anyone at 1600 Pennsylvania Ave. — battled over talking points to describe what happened during the deadly Benghazi attack.
