Rand Paul sounds an alarm

Plenty of frequent flyers will empathize with Kentucky Senator Rand Paul, who was stopped at a security checkpoint at Nashville’s airport Monday after the routine scanning process identified an “hot spot’’ on his knee. In some ways, Paul did a service for others, most of whom just put up with airline security roadblocks. Still, his small act of civil disobedience also pointed up the tough choices facing the TSA.
