The park connecting Four and Five Cambridge Center may be simple - some grass, a brick pathway, and a handful of metal benches and tables - but it’s a unique urban space. So it wasn’t surprising that, when Google announced plans earlier this month to build a walkway that would cut through the park, Cambridge residents kicked up a storm. But the protesters are also ignoring some key facts.
