Henry Kissinger’s return to Harvard this week was a homecoming of sorts for a man who has conspicuously avoided his alma mater for at least three decades. Kissinger attended Harvard College, received his doctorate at Harvard, and became one of its most celebrated professors. But after he left in 1969 to become President Nixon’s national security advisor, Harvard faculty and students issued such scathing criticisms of his policies in Vietnam and Cambodia that he never came back.

THE GUY'S A WAR CRIMINAL!
A baseball manager gets condemned and suspended for uttering praise for castro's ability to survive, a guy who is a dictator but whose murder victims numbers in the 1,000's while also setting up healthcare and educational systems that are the envy of people all over latin america (not to mention detroit and boston). Meanwhile, kissinger is honored at harvard and in the US despite being responsible for the murders of millions and providing military support for brutal dictatorships around the world, not to mention his craven enabling of nixon. the guy is a war criminal. perhaps if the globe had informed the public that the mass murderer was to be on campus there would have been many, many more there to protest. Faust has branded herself as an appeaser of war criminals and murderers. It is no different than giving a place of honor to pol pot, nixon, pinochet or many. many other dispicible characters.
The statue of limitations never expires for war criminals. Haul Henry to the Hague in handcuffs! And, yes, had more people known about his appearance, there may've been more protests. Bravo to the lone protester! Boo to the celebrity worshippers.
