Chief Justice John Roberts defends the high court

Comments

Roberts has something up his sleeve here, no doubt about it. He knows the TAX part will certainly be up for debate. His Statements: It is not our job, he said, to protect the people from the consequences of their political choices. We do not possess the expertise to make policy judgements, those decisions are entrusted to the Nation's elected leaders who can be thrown out of office if the people disagree with them.

Hey TheSystemWorked , don't know what your on but where can I get some? The guys on Fox were all on suicide watch last night. Don't worry though pretty boy Roberts will be back to his "original intent" 18th century, fundamentalist self in no time.. Dry your eyes, call mommy and it will all be ok.

The Chief Justice is becomming a jurist and moving away from being an ideologue. Perhaps this is the beginning of the end of near-fascist right-wing power in this country.

Basically Chief Justice Roberts has given Congress a slap in the face to knock some sense back into them. Let's hope they step up and start to do their jobs.

So when Roberts disagrees with what the liberals want, e.g. Citizens United, he's a right-wing ideologue, and when he agrees he's reasoned, and considered. How about analyzing his arguments instead of attacking/praising his character?

One might assume that Roberts got the memo from the Big Businesses that run the health care systems that the ACA would, in the long run, be good for business. So while the outcome is for the best, the selling out of the Supreme Court is once again disheartening. The best justice money can buy. Meanwhile the blathering idiocracy of the Radical Right seems to be hell-bent on destroying something that would be good for all Americans. What if your loved ones died of diseases for which you were unable to obtain treatment? Claim denied? Then what?

It is not a sign of intelligence, logic and common sense to just parrot the taking points of hate-radio and Fox News. By the time you come to your senses and realize what a fool you've been, it will be too late. I hope that you live long enough to suffer the dire consequences of your ignorance.

Roberts has started to resemble Calvin Borel in all his photos lately. Calvin Borel is the jockey from Louisiana who was riding the horse that won the Kentucky Derby last year (and won it again on a different horse a few year prior). That's about as mean as I can be for today...
