How about critique of Obama?

I UNDERSTAND that “fair and balanced’’ is anathema to The Boston Globe, but I expected a more balanced opinion from Joan Vennochi ( “Obama has to re-sell Obama,’’ Op-ed, Dec. 22). She reports the flip-flopping by the GOP front runners, yet omits any mention of Barack Obama’s changes of stance in her advice to the president.

In favor of closing the Guantanamo Bay detention camp? Once, but not anymore.

In favor of transparency in the administration? Once, but not anymore.

In favor of reducing America’s dependency on foreign oil? Only until he told Brazil we will be their best customers.

We can’t all agree, but we can attempt to be fair.
