letters | hubway gears up for spring

If Hubway can grow in suburbs, why not in the city, too?

RE “HUBWAY program entering a peak cycle’’ (Metro, Feb. 26): As the Hubway program plans its expansion into neighboring communities, including Somerville and Brookline, I wonder why Boston is still excluding parts of the city, such as South Boston, from the program.

There are many young and fit citizens in South Boston who are also eager to be able to bike around the city - especially since the subway does not reach many residents.
