Don’t condemn all nonprofit organizations based on a few high-profile cases

While we, too, are concerned about isolated abuses, it is unfair to cast aspersions on all nonprofits, writes Michael Weekes, president of the Providers’ Council. To do so unfairly disparages these organizations based on a few headline-grabbing incidents. Nonprofits care for our friends and neighbors where others cannot or will not. These organizations create stronger communities in Massachusetts.
