Enough talk of redemption — basketball is a game, and it can get heated

The Globe, always a highly moralistic outfit, seems to be setting new standards for itself these days, writes Vincenzio Cardinale. First it was Chuck Colson, whom you pronounced “redeemed” in an April 24 editorial, and now it’s poor Celtics guard Rajon Rondo, who is not yet redeemed, but could “redeem himself” if he improves his “sportsmanship” in a manner that is in keeping with your high principles.
