Miriam Rosenberg writes: As a lesbian mother, married to my girlfriend of over 30 years, I am so very sick and tired of being the foil for candidates. Every four years, no matter what, we have the candidate calculating that support for gays will bring votes, and the candidate who derides gays to get votes. We and our children have to listen to long discussions on radio and television, often saying horrible things about us, all day long.
