Different take on scene outside abortion clinics

A letter writer last Sunday said her friend demonstrates outside of an abortion clinic where it is mostly “quiet and prayerful,” though she noted that pro-lifers take abuse from some young men (“The scene outside abortion clinics”). Really?

Some years back my three daughters and I had business to conduct in a large building where there was an abortion clinic on the first floor. We were assailed by screaming men and women, including nuns, who stuck pictures of dead fetuses in our faces, begging us not to go into the building.

They had no idea what we were going into the building for. There was total chaos outside, and it was all caused by anti-abortion protesters. There was nothing peaceful and prayerful about it.
