Antinuclear crowd throws too many roadblocks in plants’ way

RE “PLYMOUTH divided over Pilgrim’s license renewal” (Metro, May 28): If lawyer Meg Sheehan and the Pilgrim Coalition watchdog group achieve their ultimate objective, then every day the Pilgrim nuclear plant isn’t generating energy, that electricity would be coming from oil and coal.

In their zeal to fight renewal of the plant’s license, they needlessly frighten citizens.

In New Hampshire, the antinuclear crowd threw every possible roadblock in Seabrook’s way, generating endless litigation and monumental expenses that eventually were passed on to rate payers.
