RE “STILL loyal to Bulger, Greig gets eight years” (Page A1, June 13): It seems now that love is a crime, for which Catherine Greig will serve time. No matter that she didn’t drive a getaway car, purchase a weapon, hack a computer, or even ask James “Whitey” Bulger to transgress. Merely living with Bulger and giving him personal service was enough to brand her an accessory.
Beware, all ye romantic couples. If your partner commits a crime, a vindictive society will lock you up as well.
