No hint of concern for workers

It is fascinating to read yet another editorial griping about the costs associated with union labor that makes not a single mention of the workers who are affected by project labor agreements (“In new project labor deal, Mass. taxpayers lose again,” July 24). It speaks to our cynical moment that an editorial entirely about labor avoids addressing the concerns of workers, and instead opinines about managing costs to taxpayers as though the added cost of PLAs weren’t part of a larger conversation about fair wages, job security, and health benefits.
