Research points to value of labor agreements

As readers consider plans proposed by Governor Patrick and the Massachusetts Department of Transportation to use project labor agreements for several large construction projects throughout the state, it’s important that they have all of the facts about this critical economic development tool. (“Project labor agreements: Mass. taxpayers lose again,” July 24).

Numerous studies indicate that PLAs ensure that construction projects are completed on time and on budget.
