RE “RED Sox mascot is briefly lost, then found” (Metro, July 28): Wally was not on a good-will tour. He was desperately trying to escape. The fact that he was cruelly captured and forced to return to witness further carnage at Fenway is proof positive that cruel and unusual punishment does still exist. Free Wally!
