Coe’s faint praise of Phelps is all wet

RE “Coe: Phelps not greatest Olympian” (Sports, Aug. 2): As an organizer of the London Games, Lord Sebastian Coe should have exercised discretion and civility instead of stating that American swimmer Michael Phelps was not the greatest Olympian.

Phelps earned this moment of glory, and Coe “reigned” on his parade.
