With nod from FAA, nothing should stand in Cape Wind’s way

RE “FAA OKs Cape Wind” (Page A1, Aug. 16): To those who continue to actively oppose the wind farm off Cape Cod, it’s time to stop. End the stall tactics. There is no reasonable moral opposition to this clean energy project. Getting this wind farm built is the right thing to do for Massachusetts, for the country, and for the environment.

Now, to the Alliance to Protect Nantucket Sound people and their like-minded Don Quixotes: Call off your lobbyists. Surely there are more worthy windmills at which you can tilt.

Those big, slow, ugly ferries that carry families, like mine, and their minivans to Nantucket and Martha’s Vineyard every day would be a good target.
