I FIND myself singularly unimpressed by Donte’ Stallworth’s tale of redemption (“Fateful turn,” Sports, Aug. 19). A man is dead, robbed of his life for no good reason at all, and his family is ruined, simply because Stallworth was too irresponsible to stay out of his car or take a cab. It is amazing how cheap life has become in this country.
It may be even more amazing that the Globe regards a story like this newsworthy.
