RE “BIDEN’S reference to bin Laden crass, uncivilized” (Letters, Sept. 7): Alex J. Boros was offended by Vice President Biden’s comment that “Osama bin Laden is dead, and GM is alive.” A dead enemy is no longer an enemy. Should our troops have captured bin Laden and brought him back to the United States for trial? Please!
Killing bin Laden was short and thorough. He is an enemy no more.
