RE “Romney says dependent 47% back Obama” (Page A1, Sept. 18): Mitt Romney has nothing to apologize for. He stated the truth that some people will not take responsibility for themselves, and that some see themselves as “victims.”
I am a lower-middle-class citizen, and am tired of counting my change at the store to pay for my groceries when the person in front of me, dressed to the nines in designer clothes, just slides his or her EBT card, and walks out into a new car.
I resent Barack Obama’s aunt living off my husband’s and my hard-earned tax money when I am the same age and have more health problems.
Wake up, America.
This country goes down the tubes when our sense of entitlement exceeds our sense of appreciation for working for a living.
