No such thing as an ‘independent’ Republican

If the second debate between Scott Brown and Elizabeth Warren was the first time you had been introduced to Senator Brown, you might walk away thinking that he is an independent.

After watching the debate, I was incredulous at the number of times Brown declared himself independent, rather than that which he is: a Republican repeating the word “independent” over and over, and hoping that is what people remember when they vote.

Humor in the Globe,  That's a new one.  Finding an independent politician of either party is less likely than finding a one horned unicorn running on Storrow Drive.   If I were a Republican running for office in Kennedyland, I'd call myself a martyr.    Senator Brown knows that the "R" word is liss popular in Massachusetts than the "F" word at a fancy ladies tea party on Harvard Common.   One might note that Prodessor Warren's vocabulary consists   of two nouns - Billionairs and Millionairs.   She spoke those two undeleted expldetives 37 times  in denouncing anyone with an "R" behind their name.
