Obama has steered us from depths of ’08

Americans need to rewind to 2008, when jobs and the stock market were tanking. Mitt Romney’s quick-fix Bain mentality is to say whatever is convenient, as in the first presidential debate, but he doesn’t give details. There is no quick fix, and under President Obama’s direction, we are moving in the right direction, with unemployment falling to 7.8 percent. Those facing retirement can feel buoyed by a growing stock market and lower taxes for the middle class.
