Looking for that Rx?

In his Oct. 13 op-ed column “Reefer madness,” Lawrence Harmon writes, “If marijuana truly relieves suffering in ways that other medicines cannot, then it belongs in pharmacies, not in sunny window sill planters or shady storefronts.” In fact, up until 1942, it was in pharmacies. Then it was outlawed in the United States.
