Kennedy name is candidate’s only qualification

RE “STILL a work in progress, Kennedy shows natural gifts” (Editorial, Oct. 24): “Voters can feel confident that [Joseph Kennedy III] will grow into an effective advocate for the” Fourth District. Really? We’re supposed to vote for a science project, just on the basis of a family name, as opposed to Republican Sean Bielat, a man with real-world experience?

Kennedy seems like a pleasant young man, but in terms of qualifications for Congress, he is an empty suit.

Any hope of rationality suggested by your Sixth District endorsement of Republican Richard Tisei over Democratic incumbent John Tierney has vanished again.
