I find it extremely cynical that Mitt Romney and Paul Ryan would hold events labeled as Hurricane Sandy relief efforts on Tuesday in the swing states of Ohio and Wisconsin. Were these gentlemen truly concerned about gathering donations for hurricane relief, one would expect them to go into the states where they have the strongest support and the most active donors, such as Texas or Georgia.

Did you take credical actions against Pres. Obama who went to a Las Vegas fund raiser the next day while our ambassador & 3 others are murdered and our consulates are burning....How about lying for weeks when they knew immediately that they were being attacked. Will not answer any questions until after the election and I wonder why?
Your inability to stick to the point belies your screen name. The point under discussion is how to help storm victims.
singlemomeofcollegeapplicant; Sure, we can help storm victims - we have the logistics in place, but it would've been nice if someone helped our ambassador and the three other souls who died. Let's face it, this administration lied and people died. You should be very concerned.
Good point. Not to mention that, in the aftermath of such widespread disaster, there is something to be said to letting organizations with logistic capability do the job of getting aid to people. I could load a lot of blankets here in Massachusetts but how would I get them to Atlantic City? FEMA and the Red Cross (not my favorite organization) or the Salvation Army are in a much better position to help.
I would encourage people to donate goods or money to those organization rather than to political candidates who may be trying to help but may find themselves getting in the way.
well william, they had plans to go to those states, it never hurts for everyone to donate to help these people, but of course, some people just can't find anything nice to say about anyone, picky, picky, picky. typical Mass occupant.
I'll be glad when this election is over so people will go back to behaving normally.
