In his Nov. 7 Op-ed column “Obama won, but it was an ugly win,” Jeff Jacoby accuses President Obama of becoming the candidate of “whatever it takes” because he fought a difficult campaign to keep his office.
Has Jacoby forgotten to take stock of Mitt Romney, whose opinions changed depending on his audience? Talk about a candidate who epitomizes “whatever it takes.”
