Thanks to Stephanie Ebbert and her article highlighting the civility and friendship of neighbors with opposing political views (“Neighbors keep the fight outside,” Metro, Nov. 6).

For too many years now our country has become more and more polarized, with too many myopic people unable to civilly chat and debate their views without becoming vitriolic.
